The Fifth Alarm remains the same...

The Fifth Alarm remains the same in terms of layout. The quality of the women varies. On this Friday afternoon at 5pm, there were a couple of overweight black dancers, a small latin dancer, a couple of good-looking young white girls, along with a few middle-aged ladies. With the exception of the young blonde, none would be a real head-turner on the street. She was a solid 7-1/2. The remainder ranged from threes to sixes. Mostly towards the lower end.

Beers were four or five bucks. The girls flashed as serious shot for a buck or two, and many gave you a hearty "handshake" from the stage to let you know the lap-dance area could be fun. Lap dances are $25 (although I think that could be negotiated) in a moderately lit, moderately private area. The songs were lengthy, and the mileage was significant. I could have very easily left very happy if I had stayed beyond a couple of songs.

At the bar, most patrons and girls were paired up, and the girls were giving ample attention to their regulars. While this made it tough on non-regulars, it seemed like a comfortable, fun scene. The fifth alarm seems to have improved since my last visit.
