Had been a few years since...

Had been a few years since I went to this Christie's so decided to stop by during lunch. Took a friend, expecting free entrance - Nope! $14 for the two of us plus a tip for the doorgirl - ouch! But we were told it was happy hour. The worse thing about this club (today anyways) was the lighting. It is virtually dark in there except for a few stage lights which they keep constantly in motion so you can't focus on the girls onstage for any period of time. The next surpise was the waitress came by and took our drink order informing us it was 2 for 1 domestics. So we asked for a couple of beers (expecting 2). Instead she brings out four(lukewarm) beers. When I told her we wanted to start with one each, she said she couldn't do that since they were already open. I paid with a credit card and when the tab came it was $13 (I think $7.50 for a Budweiser is ridiculous even in a strip club). Then the waitress makes me sign an authorization where they temp hit my credit card for $100. We were out of there in 20 minutes and I spent over $45 on two warm beers. I will be sticking with Hi-Liter and BSC from here on out - no wonder it was almost empty in Christie's today.
