I hadn't been to this place...

I hadn't been to this place for over a year, so I thought I would drop in and see if it had gotten any better. Based on this one visit, I would say "no." On the plus side, the bar was hopping - 6 or 7 dancers at 2 p.m., and probably 8-9 customers. The place seems safe enough, but it has a bit of a 'hood vibe, in that if you're not a regular, you may get ignored. I don't look like a cop, but I was wearing a collared shirt and slacks (I'd just come from work), which made me very overdressed for this place. People smoke openly here, so be prepared to smell of smoke. The sad thing is that not one of the 6-7 dancers there was very attractive, and most of them were seriously overweight, pregnant or both. So it didn't bother me that it took forever to get a dance. I got one (barside, $5) from "Melonie", who appeared to be pregnant, drank my (inexpensive) beer and left. I had a full wallet, and was prepared to spend, but I left with all but $9. I'll probably come back in a year.
