I am a fan of this...

I am a fan of this place, at least when I am in NYC and am feeling the hunger. PE is owned by the same folks that own Flashdancers, and the girls that dance at FD are required to dance at least one day a week at PE. PE also has some girls that only dance at PE. Either way, the quality level is quite high; in my judgment just as good as FD. PE is a little bit more out of the way than FD (well, actually not really, it is close to times square, in a perfectly safe area; FD is on broadway, though, and gets a lot more foot traffic), but i find this to be an advantage. In my experience in the two clubs, PE tends to be a lot less crowded than FD, which translates into better attention from the girls and less "wanna dance".

The basic details are: $20 for dances, which take place along the perimeter wall of the main room. (When you first walk in, there is a bar with a small stage off to the right. The main room with the main stage is through an archway just in front of the front door.) Dancers spend 2-3 songs up on stage, then circulate (they generally are pretty good about circulating; i think that for the most part the girls are focused on making money). Obviously there is some variance by dancer, but I thought that generally the dances were pretty good. One way contact, maybe a little bit in reverse, depending on the girl. Dancers are primarily eastern european, though a few black and asian girls are there. Substantial majority of the dancers are quite attractive, with at least a few very hot ones in there. Champagne room is similar to FD in price -- $595 for an hour (haven't done that; can't see doing it).

All in all, I think that this is a solid pick if you feel the need to SC while in Manhattan -- quality is similar to FD, but you get a little more for the $.
