Headed back to the Wagon Wheel...
Headed back to the Wagon Wheel for the first time in many months. Nothing has changed with the building exterior and interior. Some things are timeless. Not in the best neighborhood, but the parking lot is well lit and haven't ever seen a problem. Club inside is the same and the lights are dark enough that it probably hides a lot of signs of aging. Had to re-up my membership. $15 for the card plus $25 for the cover charge. I'm ok with the fee and if I'm by myself, bring a bottle of coke mixed with bourbon.
Got there at 1030 on a Thursday. I saw about 10 dancers but another dancer told me there were 16 working. There were only a dozen customers when I got there and it probably grew to maybe 18 by the time I left at 1a. The energy was lacking. No one was sitting at the stages so very little tips were thrown on stage except for the occasional approach for a certain girl. Pole dances and tricks were ordinary, again, likely due to the small crowd.
Dancers were the customary level for TPC. Pretty good range of body types, with an emphasis on petite. There were a few girls with curves and about the same with bolt ons. All but two of the girls were white, with one Brazilian mix and another I'd guess as mixed race. Only one dancer out of the 16 was a definite no for me.
