Not my first visit to the Cotton Club and probably won't be my last, went in after a pleasant dinner in town and was on way back to the hotel. Cheerful girl on the door takes your money and your coat, never been happy with this so ensured my pockets were empty although I am sure it would be fine.

Upstairs is a large stage with a bar on the upper right and a shower area on the far side, seemed to be a number of couples around and the private dances took place above the bar in booths.

Girls were all friendly but some were french speaking only so unless you 'parlez francais' actions may speak louder than words.

Girls were also willing to chat for a while before and after dancing always a good sign especially if you are on your own.

All in all a good club and will visit again on my way through St Johns.
