Headed home after a happy hour...

Headed home after a happy hour in the East Harbor, the bouncer told me there was no cover and to check it out. Mentioned they had about 15 girls, all races. I went down the stairs that everyone mentions in their reviews of this place - I didn't think it was that bad...until I left. I get in and realize "oh s***", I'm on The Block; whatever that means. The place isn't that large and the bar is right there in front of you by the door. There are rows of booths to the right which I assume are lap dance areas. Bathrooms are for paying customers only. I scanned the joint for a few seconds, not sure what I was looking at. Some unattractive dancers caught my eye first, but there were a couple of decent ones in there. One was right up front and said hello. I sat next to her and the bartender asked me what I wanted. Having just had a few drinks, I said I'd wait for a spell. She said that meant I had to go. The dancer said I could buy her one instead. I think it was going to be $20. Honestly, she was pretty enough to stay and chat with, and had I read the other reviews on this place before going I might've done it. But the attitude I caught from the bartender turned me off and I was on a time crunch anyway. So I left. There were about 3 customers and 12 girls at 8:30pm or so. I'd try again if I were that way.
