While Club Wax has certainly dropped in quality over the course of the past 12-14 months, anyone who has frequented or is considering a visit to this club should know that the management has recently made some renovations to the physical interior of club. More VIP rooms, fresh coats of paints to the interior walls, updated front booth operation, and more streamlined security. Unfortunately, the renovations have not yet translated to the quality of the dancers. On this particular visit, there were about 15 dancers on the floor or stage, but most of them were major bow wows in the face. Others had cute faces, but were either incredibly skinny or out of shape with plenty of back meat and stomach fat. The best bet currently is actually Tuesday nights after 10. The club now runs a theme called "Big Booty Tuesdays." This is the best concentration of nicely shaped dancers over the course of most weeks. And, considering that the dances (particularly after 10 and closer to midnight) are high mileage, $5 for a dance goes a long way. Avoid VIP--you either get a nude dancer for more cash with a slightly scaled back dance or you get a less-than attractive girl trying to hustle you to...uh, "more."
