this place has had its ups...

this place has had its ups and downs....reading some recent reviews it seemed it might be back on the say up. I arrived around 11PM on a Saturday night and was surprised to find the

parking lot less than 1/3 full. The bouncer outside the door said it was $15 cover...I paid, since I was on a mission to see the new improved Cheerleaders. He informed me that it was BYOB but they would do alchohol runs if I wanted. Inside their seemed to be only about 10 -16 customers and and several dancers chatting to customers around the bar plus a couple dancing onstage, which is in the middle of the big wrap-around bar. The girls onstage were ok, Jersey girl types, both blonde with decent figures and moderately attractive looks. They were dancing with a fair amount of energy and I found that overall the dancers there did put out pretty good effort onstage. Quickly scoping out the other dancers hanging around the bar, I saw that none were unattractive but none were real killers. Now and then one would come by and strike up a little conversation as a prelude to offer a private dance downstairs. One of them said the downstairs had been fixed up "really nice" and another was fairly graphic in describing what a good time she could give me down there--nothing over the legal line though. Their hustle was low key and all were pretty friendly and down-to-earth.

One of the dancers said there were another ten or so dancers hanging in the dressing room--I've never understood why they do that. Yeah, it may be a slow night but you never know who will walk in; Mr. Big Tipper could come in at any moment and make their night. But they would never know by hanging in the dressing room. Anyway, I decided to remain a little longer to see if anything exciting came out of the dressing room. A few more dancers did emerge but pretty much in the same quality range- 5's to 7's, ordinary, Middle America. So I saw no one worth testing out the new renovated downstairs with and left after about a half hour. This place could be ok if the quality of dancers was better. As it is, not a bad option to pass an hour or two....but I wouldn't go out of my way to do that and wouldn't come when the cover charge was $15.
