I had heard about $10 Tuesdays...

I had heard about $10 Tuesdays at PoleKatz and stopped in on a recent Tuesday to take advantage of the discount. I found the club easily by driving north on Harlem Ave from the south suburbs and turning left on 100th Place. When I left, it was simple to get on I-294 southbound by driving a short distance west on 100th Place and north on 76th Ave. It's not true that valet parking is mandatory; it is available for $5, but street parking is plentiful, at least at 6:30 p.m. when I arrived.

I was greeted warmly at the door by a bouncer, who explained the seating upstairs in the VIP area but let me sit wherever I wanted. I learned later from a dancer that the VIP area costs $350 or $400 per half hour -- no thanks! Regular lappers cost $20 topless and $30 nude, but on Tuesday, as mentioned, topless lapdances are only $10. At that price you can't go too far wrong.

I drank a $4 beer and watched the action for a while, looking for but not finding the right dancer to take back to the lapdance area. Suddenly, as so often happens, famine turned to feast as I got a few $10 dances in quick succession from each of three very different dancers: one Hispanic from the SW suburbs, one brunette from the north side, and one very pretty blonde from Rockford. All three allowed considerable contact, though one of them said (somewhat half-heartedly, I thought), that I would get her into trouble if I kept touching her boobs. (So I stopped -- sort of.)
