Stopped into the Diamond Lounge for...

Stopped into the Diamond Lounge for the first time ever on a recent Saturday night along with two buddies. From the get-go it was promising: as the three of us entered the place, we received a round of applause from the dancers who were sitting in wait along the bar, which was a first in my experience. Immediately my eyes went to (pardon the cliche) the "diamond" amongst them, who luckily gravitated towards me as I took my place at the bar. Started out with some light convo with her and bought her a drink - then another, then another (and drinks are generally not cheap at all here). Ultimately sprang for a $75 set of dances in the "VIP" area with her. Note that the "VIP" area itself was rather disappointing - basically just a couch at the end of the bar (in clear view of the bar patrons, yuck), book-ended by a fish tank. So the layout of the place was nothing stellar - but the girl, alas, was. Slim dark-skinned spinner-type with a gorgeous face, and we had very nice chemistry. The expenditures were ultimately worth it thanks to her, though only thanks to her, and with no thanks to the place itself; for instance, as mentioned earlier, little privacy was to be had, and on top of that, one of the staff, a big brute guy, found it appropriate to come over and remind my dancer that our block of time had ended - fucking prick. I will not return to this place, but the girl I found was a true diamond. Probably telling that she was from out of town, and not a regular dancer here. I will stick with The Flamingo, which remains my Block fave.
