In Baltimore at a conference, I tried this place on a recommendation from a fellow TUSCLer. The Hustler franchises do vary considerably with this one being one of the best. I was able to walk from my hotel - about 10min and with my street smarts on alert. Enter at a more non-descript door at street level - this is the first club on "the block" and I was happy to get off of the street as soon as I could. A man at the door checked ID and then you go immediately upstairs. I knew in advance about the further upstairs VIP for an extra charge and planned to do it on recommendation. I confirmed that there were no additional charges to going VIP, not more expensive drinks or enhanced fees on buying a dancer a drink. The Friday and Saturday I went, it was $25, downstairs was no charge. VIP opens at 9 so if you plan on it, get in after. It's pretty quiet if you go right up at 9 for at least the first 30m or so.

I am a big drinker at clubs. My Dewars was $8, less than what the same drink cost me at the hotel restaurant with dinner. Drinks I bought for the dancers were combinations of $6 white wine, $8 Jack Daniels and $10 fancy vodka martinis. I even splurged on my favorite single malt scotch for $13 which could be considered downright cheap. I had very reasonable and almost identical bar tabs for both nights - innocuous company name on the charges though the receipts did advertise the Hustler website on the bottom, which I simply ripped off.

Dances, as may have been previously mentioned, on the VIP level are topless $40 for 2 as opposed to $15 for 1 bikini downstairs. This likewise is a bargain. Yes, it's a separate and common area for these but very dark (and all red) with separate "booths." My mileage certainly did vary depending on the girl. House guys continue to come through checking to see which girls are giving dances, that was all though. The songs are long - it was a pleasant surprise thought the DJ does start talking again half way through and keeps at it through the end. I was shown around the nice private rooms with varying drink, girl and cost requirements. I didn't try one and I didn't think I needed too.

Girls average the higher score with above 8s or even 10s rare but I'm a "girl next door" kind a guy. All the ones I talked to seemed to be local college students and one in particular seemed sweet and innocent but was crazy in the back. Some lower scores too with a contingent of Russians, Black and Asian as well as white so quite a mix. As it gets later, they also do seem to start having more fun and some get a little rowdy, in a good way.

Lastly, friendy place from the guy downstairs and the girl at the desk upstairs who was more than happy to go over all of the VIP info with me to the bartenders and the girls. The girls do make an effort to chat with you first before asking for a dance. Never felt I experienced a hard sell. Most do ask for tips at the end of the dances.
