Red Parrot's management has to seriously step up their game if they want to win over the trust of its customers... There was a Hip Hop performer that performed at the Red Parrot a few months back. The gates to the concert opened at 8 P.M., and the concert didn't start until approximately 11:30 P.M. What does that mean? Spend your money inside on the girls that's dancing (even though some people didn't plan to). One of the hosts of the concert was some old Penthouse model that looked like a bad case of plastic surgery and cocaine addiction. The other host was some dude that looked like a broke-ass pimp with a suit filled with rhinestones. The opening act performed by some rapper was cheesy as hell... I thought pimp cups died out of mainstream fashion in 2005... The shameless promotion by the hosts of their own products was pissing a lot of people off as well. The performer ended up putting on a good performance, and there were many fans of the performer's music that were waiting for autographs after the show. In order to get an autograph, you had to have a VIP wristband (which was oblivious to a lot of people). The club's management tried to convince the long line of other people that the performer was "winded by the dusty area..." Piss poor excuse by the club! Many people left the club feeling cheated, and I was one of them.

Nothing too much about the Red Parrot has changed... Still the warehouse looking topless club off 1-10 next door to the Americana Inn. Most of the female dancers that I remember from my military days are still there... They just look more matured (in a good way)... Still the same layout... Same everything. But, if there's one thing that the managers of this club needs to remember is that the patrons of your business establishment are more than just your "tricks", "suckers", and "johns." They're your customers. Treat them as such.
