I was at the Penthouse Club...

I was at the Penthouse Club on Saturday October 1st from around 5pm to 12am. I did not pay a cover but I did have the valet park my car $7 + tip upon leaving. My coke was about $8 dollars. The Penthouse Club is a topless bar with full alcohol. The dances are topless with two way contact or better for $25 and up. This is still one of my top clubs but day shift dancer quality was way down on a Saturday compared to my previous Thursday visit and the night shift got better towards 11pm. On my July visit I ranked dancer quality with Mons Venus, in October is wasn’t that close.

The Penthouse Club is a well lit, very nice looking club. There is a bar just as you get inside the club and a smaller bar area where smoking is allowed upstairs. The stage is surrounded by small tables with two chairs each and on one side of the stage there are some three person tables. VIP booths are on a raised area away from the stage that cost ~$20 to sit in. The lap dance booths are curtained VIP sections with couches upstairs and there is an elevator.

The Penthouse Club is on the notorious 8 mile road in Detroit. This inner city location that was trouble free for me though there is construction in one of the main roads heading up to 8 mile. I needed directions from the club since my GPS did not have the location and did not have any trouble finding the club.
