similar to the last post, i finally visited go-go-rama after reading all the hype. being that it was a nj club, i had very low expectations. my experience for jersey clubs are either bikini top, and alcohol or juice bar and "skanky-ness". arrived on a friday night to a $10 cover. was surprised that they did not let you byob. even more surprised when entering that the first drink/water was $8. i cant recall how much it cost afterwards, but i remember it was very reasonable. here's the good news. this is not the typical dollar parade club. the interior of the club is actually ideal for folks like me who like to go to the club with a few friends, chat and look at beautiful women, without being constantly harassed for a dollar or 2. so now the $20 spent for entrance fee and water didn't seem that bad. the club is very appealing. the "upper section" is the bar. the lower section consist of the stage and seating surrounding the stage for those who need a closer view. there is a lap dance section in 1 big room and a separate vip lounge behind closed doors but apparently monitored by cameras. lap dances are timed for 5 minutes. i am not into feature dancers or celebrity appearance and show, but they had an unannounced, "impromptu" 2-girl dance that was the hottest show i ever seen in a club. it was artistic and sensual. the strange thing, the folks in the lower section didn't even tip. overall, very nice club which i will probably re-visit if in the area.
