When I walked in I really liked this place just based on the first impression. By the time I left – not so much. Oz is located in a nice stand alone building in the back corner behind a strip mall off the frontage road to 19. No daytime cover. A medium size place with a very nice bar in the left hand corner, nice 3 pole stage and dance booths in the right rear corner. Unique lighting that is very nice but difficult to describe. Overall a good clean semi upscale interior. Cute thin buxom blonde bartender working and the Heineken turned out to be $3.75 a bottle. Cranberry and Grey Goose was $5.00. Pretty good rock music, a little loud but ok. About 15-20 patrons – all white and middle aged. This is where it started to go down. The customers were either talking amongst themselves or (more than a few) blankly gazing off into space. In two hours plus, I only saw one other guy besides myself tip at the stage or get a LD.

About 10 girls working ranging from one 5 to 6-7s. Mostly white, all tatted, a couple enhanced – no stunners but OK for a red-neck Florida afternoon. One dancer on stage doing 2 or 3 dances and topless on the last one. This was also where the downgrade continued. Because of the layout/construction of the club at least part of the stage will be obscured from anywhere in the club except the tip rail. I had been warned that the girls here are drinkers and that proved to be true. Very little hustling of the comatose regulars for LDs but a fair amount of drinking with them was going on. I finally got the attention of good looking girl (no small effort) and bought her a drink. No rocket scientist this one but she was the cutest in the place. They ran a dancer review a couple of times followed by a 2-4-1 LD special (songs cut short) along with some give away crap. LDs are $35 per and are topless (though she was pretty slow to take it off). The booths are good sized and have a closeable curtain and seemed great until I looked up and saw what looked like a camera looking down though I couldn’t be sure. Dances were good two way contact but whether the possible camera (?), the girl, the club or whatever it didn’t seem like fun. She did tell me that at nighttime it is very different because the only people who come are “drunken young assholes”.

Overall, I like the physical place and I like the drink prices. Downside is lack of energy all around and the high LD prices (certainly WAY too high for second tier topless in central Florida). Since I’ve already promised a friend who sometimes dances here at night, I know I’ll be back to see what kind of drunken young assholes they attract but I can’t recommend this supposedly nicest club in the county at least not during the day time.
