After a more than 1 year...

After a more than 1 year absence, I found myself in the Mardi Gras twice last week (friends in area on business) based on convenience. Unfortunately, the same problems that drove me away to greener pastures -- I was a 20yr. vet -- are still rearing their ugly head. While I can't say I was surprised, I had hoped that Mardi Gras had made corrections over the last 15 months to at least retrieve a semblance of the fantastic strip club it once was. Oh well, another pipe dream shot to shit.

From 1990 through early 2000's, nothing beat this club. In point of fact, when I first discovered TUSCL in late 1999, Mardi Gras was rated #1 on this site. Anyone going there now wouldn't believe that if I offered to buy them a retro-Leanni Lei BJ in the old Champagne Room. (Leanni was a house dancer here when she was tearing it up in porn.)

The main problem nowadays is, of course, the girls. The lackluster, apathetic, inattentive and non-job-performing girls. Their sense of entitlement is off the charts. "Give me your money, asshole, I needn't have to entertain you, make an effort or even get nude" has become the Mardi Gras dancer mantra. Mardi Gras forgot how to be FUN a long time ago.
