Haven't been there since my review...

Haven't been there since my review in August 2009 (I don't live particularly close). Again I went in early afternoon on a weekday. Much of my previous review still applies, but there are a few new wrinkles. The outside of the building has a fresh coat of paint, so it no longer looks scheduled for demolition. The setup in the main room seemed unchanged, still with a very low light level. The VIP room now has private booths, apparently used only if you get the 5 for 50 deal. Though the privacy is nice, the light level in the booths is now about like the main club. Had a very nice dance from a charming dancer. I think she was really good looking, but it was hard to be sure. She certainly felt nice. There were between 6 and 10 dancers working, with only one stage in operation. Except for the one who approached me (and danced for me), most of the others did not seem particularly interested in finding customers. I hate being hustled and like low key, but this was a little too much.

All in all, my comments are about the same as last time. The light level is too low and now in the VIP room as well. I haven't tried the Champagne Room upstairs, but was told that it is better. On the other hand, the $5 cover charge in the afternoon is cheap, and the free lunch is decent, especially the french fries. So for $5, you can have lunch and watch good looking ladies in skimpy bikinis, with more available if you are interested. Can't beat that, but this place could be so much better with just a little tweaking.

Maybe the opening of a new casino only about a mile away will stimulate business and bring some improvements.
