A couple of years since I...

A couple of years since I have been here so I thought that it was worth a visit. Nothing much has changed, still £15 entrance, still the same stage show. Good value if you have quite a bit of time to kill but don't want to spend a lot. Also good if you don't want to drink since there is no pressure to do so; you don't even need to buy a single drink. The location is good as well. I often wait there while the wife is shopping in or around Oxford St (she knows but doesn't mind, better than having me grumble while watching her shop).

There was one change since I had last been there. It has been redecorated. This was needed since it was getting a little shabby. The new decor is quite nice but I don't come to these places to admire the decor.

It is not all great, the girls are not as nice as in the good pubs (e.g. Browns or The Griffin). If you are lucky, there will be one or two nice, maybe very nice, girls, several reasonable ones, and a few rather disappointing ones. This visit was typical in that way: one very good, a few reasonable, and several poor. Some were too fat and one even had varicose veins!
