Still not sure what all the noise is about. Maybe past reviewers of The Ear haven't been to many clubs. The Mouse's Ear is an OK place, but just OK. First, it is T-I-N-Y. And by tiny, I mean the whole club is maybe 40x40, of which 10x10 is the main stage in the center of the room. As with other Knoxville clubs, no on-site beer/liquor service, but can't hold that against them, since you can't get it anywhere else in town either. Dancer quality is decent, not the worst, not the best, but the dances -- how should I say this -- SUCK! Private (yeah, right) dances consist of a loveseat along one wall of the main room, where the dancer does indeed strip to complete nakedness, but it's on a little cocktail table three feet away. Not because of local law. Just because that's the way they do it at this club. If you're in the mood for semi-hot dancers, looking at titties and pootie-tang, then go. If you're looking for mileage or a happy ending, go to another town.
