My first bad experience at this...

My first bad experience at this place. I hope it's not the start of something bad.

I usually come here as a no hassle place to unwind, have a drink, and chat with the ladies. It's an unpretentious place with no cover and no drama - except for last night.

I walk in just before 9pm on Friday to catch the shift change and start walking toward the bar. Some meathead goon lays his hands on me and demands an ID. I figure what the hell and hand him my license, laughing because I haven't been carded in over 20 years. This A-hole points at me and sats "don't move!" and walks away with my card, talking to at least three other goombas who all look at my card. WTF? I ask if there's a private party or something but nobody bothers to answer me. Screw this. After a good 5 minutes meathead number 1 and 2 walk back with my card. I take it and tell them "I'm outta here - too much hassle." They mumble something that all I need now is $1 to get in. To hell with that. I don't care about the money, but I don't have time or inclination for that kind of crap.
