So I understand that over the past 2 or so weeks, maybe as much as a month, the club changed ownership. The policies have changed: no cover during the day, and "lunch" is $3.99. The drink prices are about the same, but the wine quality has seriously gone up--William Hill Chardonay for $7.50. For a strip club, that's phenomenal.

So I decided to do a comprehensive assessment of the club under new management. I have gone 4 times in 8 days, once on Friday night, starting at 8 p.m, and three days during the later afternoon: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (8/26). Here's what I found out:

Last Friday at 8 p.m., the place was dead. I mean dead--a number of girls of mixed quality who were pretty bored as there were more "managers" and bouncers than customers. I decided to stay for a while, and test the limits of the club rules (no, not the touching rules--the dancing frequency rules). I picked Bailey (she's very cute and easy to talk to, sort of a young Demi Moore). I also decided to spend some jack to see what the club would react like. I gave the DJ $20 3 times, and he let Bailey skip her pole dances every time--nice, since in other Columbus clubs I've done the same thing and the DJ just took the money without the favor. By the time the night was over, I was happy, Baily was VERY happy, and the club was paced (so like 12:30). First visit--turned out better than it started.
