I've reviewed this club many times...

I've reviewed this club many times in the past and little has changed. This is in my opinion the best club in NOLa, though it's not really up to the standards of most adult-entertainment cities like Tampa, Toronto, Houston. So I'm not saying you'll get the eye-candy of Vegas, or the service-level of San Francisco, or the amenities of a top-tier Hollywood extravaganza. You'll just get a locals bar with a friendly flavor, a higher women-to-men ratio than usual, and a large number of dancers who aren't 100% jaded about dancing. The staff will generally treat you well (though they do bust up bad groups and send people packing if you aren't tipping the gals $1 during their bar-top walk-by, which is required) and the drinks are certainly less expensive than in the FQ.

Anyway, things haven't really changed. But there is a new VIP room, another tier up from the first and second tiers that have been there for ten years or so. I have now been in the new VIP suite so I thought I'd report. To explain: there's the couch-room with lappers at $20 per song; there's the "VIP room" at $30 per son; and now there's the OTHER "VIP suite" (or "private party room" or whatever) at $150 per half-hour. I have been back there with gals whom I am familiar with from the $30-VIP-room, and things have been just the same but more private. I did not experience offers for greater levels of hanky-panky, so the only real function of the new room, for me, has been that the gals can relax, cuddle, not try to max your dance-time. In the $30-room they would either be ON you grinding during a song, or, once that song is over, then they'd be asking you if you want another and giving it to you, or if you said "no," then they were NOT working and therefore leaving. To the contrary, in the new-VIP-suite, if you want, you can kind of do without a dance for a brief period of time, cuddle, not be required to dance-dance-dance as fast as possible. Since $150 would get you 5 three- to four-minute songs at $30 each, or now $150 can get you a half-hour in the new room,the new room doubles, or at least multiples by 1.5, your time. It's a better deal for you.

Additionally, one gal did suggest to me, while dancing in the $30 room, that the new VIP suite was available for extras service. I did not take her up on it, basically because I didn't believe her. I know several of the gals and I regularly get $30 dances from them, and all of them were very up-front about how the staff would not let anyone get away with extras-service in the new suite. So I figured this one gal was trying to up-sell me and would not provide the service once we got in there. But it's possible that at an off-peak period, for example during a weekday afternoon, more would be available, I could guess. Haven't had service above lappers, personally, ever at Visions. If offered, I recommend you know your woman before you choose to partake!
