A recent Thursday late afternoon/early evening...

A recent Thursday late afternoon/early evening visit had its pluses and minuses. Physically, the club remains pretty darn close to impeccable - and they charge you for it. Expensive valet parking, expensive drinks, pay to sit anywhere but the bar, etc. The talent level of the 20-odd dancers was very, very high; more stunners that I can recall seeing in the PH before. But it was very hard to get any attention sitting at the downstairs bar. Even tipping the dancers as they danced on the bar, and saying "I'd like to spend some time with you later", didn't produce much success. Too many regulars, I guess. I had much more success at the upstairs smoking bar, which was considerably more crowded. I'm not a smoker and find the practice unappealing, but I got far more attention in 10 minutes up there than 2 hours downstairs. Next time at the club, I might spend some time downstairs to scope things out, but will head upstairs fairly quickly.

Eventually, I headed into a VIP room with a mid-20s brunette of South American descent. Made a rather large mistake in not negotiating a price ahead of time, and ended up overpaying for the services provided. To be fair, those services were very, very satisfying. Lessons learned, I do plan on returning.
