Finally giave this place a try. It's a stones throw away from Sugar's and they advertise heavily so I think those two factors were the tipping points.

Tried them out after work mid-week. when I got there the girl working the door was friendly and welcoming. I thought this was a good sign. She gave me a voucher for a free drink. Even better! And the bar staff were on point. Got two drinks and some beers over the course of my visit and I think they are one of the better bars in the area based on the service.

Unfortunately, that was the best part about it. The club layout strikes me as a nightclub that was suddenly converted into a strip club. Horrible. Hard to make sense of it until you realize that it was probably a dance club first. So I found a seat with the best view of the stage and within minutes a girl sits down next to me. She's wearing jeans and a t-shirt so I think maybe she's just someone trying to be friendly. Especially when she starts talking about work... then I realize she's a dancer and it's the usual complains/rap--but she's not dressed for her shift. Unfortunately she was a real downer but she kept on coming back.
