Having read on here that this place was under new management, I gave it a shot. A couple of dancers confirmed that the management was new, but I didn't see any changes, other than that the private dances are now $15 a song, which is cheaper than I remember.

I stopped in at 9 p.m. on a Friday and was among the first customers -- not a good sign. There were only two dancers -- even worse sign. However, several more showed up in short order; I saw 7 or 8 overall. Most were African-American (not my thing), and about half were overweight (definitely not my thing), but there were some hotties available, and you could get dances with them if you're willing to wait out the not-so-attractive ladies.

The dances were high-mileage and high-grindage, similar to what you get at Industrial Strip, although the rooms aren't quite as private. (I remember curtains on the booths, which are now gone, meaning a bouncer or other staff member could easily check in looking for extras. My dancer told me she stopped working at Club 390 because too many girls gave extras there, which led me to believe they are not available here.) I danced two songs with one girl, and learned that two songs gets you a choice of a free pass or a free shot of Jack Daniels. Not knowing if I'd be back, I took the shot.
