I stumbled in here just about...

I stumbled in here just about midnight, deciding that I didn't want to spend the rest of the night watching my friends gamble or help them wait in line until 3AM to get into the latest and greatest hotspot at the Encore.

The bouncer at the door was professional, friendly, and waived me in without a cover... As my eyes adjusted, I plunked down into one of the huge comfy chairs in the center area. I had a couple of no-pressure, pleasant conversations over drinks with contractors for roughly an hour until a petite brunette struck my fancy- I bought a couple of dances in the front room for $20, and she offered 5 for $100 in the back... which weren't really all that different than the ones in the front, except that the seating isn't as comfortable and the bouncer got to keep a clear line of sight to whatever my entertainment was doing. Even with the scrutiny, it was still a lot of fun. On the way out, the club had filled up considerably since I entered- but the bouncer I chatted with recognized me immediately and called me a freebie limo ride to my hotel. Nice!

Stuff to like: Staff and contractor attitudes, service, and entertainment value (for Las Vegas, no less) are exceptional.
