Just moved up to the Bay...

Just moved up to the Bay Area from LA, so went to check out the Poodle. The first thing I noticed is that the place definitely has more of a dive quality to it--maybe I'm just used to going to the Rhino down in So Cal. Sure, I'm going to a titty bar, but is it too much to not feel like I have to scrub off the top layer of my skin when I leave? There was reasonable variety of girls, and a couple that were decent-looking; finally caved and went for a lap with one (can't remember the name). The dance really wasn't private, and the mileage was very low. All in all, not the most positive experience and I probably won't be going back. Perhaps better times can be had in SF.
