Having lived in Denver, I was anxious to visit Shotgun Willy's years later on a business trip. I think my experience in clubs though out the country has sullied my vision on this old establishment. I visited early evening after work. While the club had maybe 10 patrons, it was so full of smoke, it made breathing difficult. The dancers were hanging out with regulars which I can understand given the time of day. The couch dance area is wide open giving little privacy and no opportunity for extra fun. I think this club could regain some of it's popularity with some more privacy and maybe more ventilation.
