This place seems to be getting...

This place seems to be getting a bit of a bad rap here. While it is not off the charts in any way, it is much improved over what it was when it was Mermaids.

First of all, everything that the previous reviewer said about the layout was right on the money. I'll just add that the place is VERY small. The pool table is close to the bar on one side and, on its other side, to a small mini-room with a couch reserved for lapdances. The bathroom is a small one person affair with a sink, urinal and toilet and it was fairly clean. Overall the inside of the club was actually rather nice and obviously had been completely renovated since its days as Mermaids.

I paid $8 for a small Jack on the rocks, which is about average for the area. I was not asked for a cover, though this may change based upon the time of night or week.
