DB is sketchy as all get out. It's a true dump. And I prefer dive-y atmospheres to slick, corporate chain clubs. But if this place isn't the shabbiest strip joint you've ever been in, you must have served in the French Foreign Legion or something.

You enter through a run-down porn shop that carries wash-before-use dildos and antique copies of FOX with sun-faded covers. I wonder when was the last time anyone made a purchase of any kind in here other than the admission charge to enter the club (ten bucks).

I had heard DB was a high-mileage place, and my conversations with the dancers corroborated that reputation. If there had been a cute girl in the place, I would definitely have paid to see for myself. Unfortunately, the talent was... well, not my type.
