Since I'm the newbie, I thought I should 'take one for the team,' so I went to the Frat House.
There are zero customers (they opened up a week ago) and they're doing three friction lap dances, out-of-eyeshot upstairs, for $40, to build traffic.
When you walk down first street, there's an awning with a line of people outside. That's not the Frat. The Frat is next door, with one bouncer outside surprised that you're actually coming in. Three more bouncers inside; all the owners, no doubt. The girls were in a pack, and one of them asked me "do you work here, or are you a customer?" I have turned tail and ran in situations like this, but there was one difference -- nobody was trying to hustle me on anything. I bought my bottle of water and sat down at the rail to tip two bucks a song and each of the five girls was pretty comfortable and talkative. Pretty soon there was another guy at the rail, thank God.
