After the discussion thread about dancers...

After the discussion thread about dancers posting on Tuscl and giving less than great reviews, I wanted to attempt to give a decent review from a dancer and a customer point of view.

I have never worked at this club. I spent an evening here with a customer of mine about a month ago. We went in as a couple and none of the dancers were aware that I was another dancer. I did see one girl that I have worked with before but she probably didn't recognize me with clothes on.

We showed up around nine o'clock. Cover was $20 dollars a person. I've never thought $20 dollars was a good Deja Vu cover. I think it should be $10. I've worked at better clubs than Deja Vu with better eye candy and they charged a lower cover, but with no alcohol served, I understand the need.

The club is large. There are VIP booths around the main room. There is also a second room lined with VIP booths. I dislike the VIP setup. There is not a lot of privacy. As a dancer and a customer, I prefer VIP booths that are more secluded.

There were almost no staff on duty. A dj, manager, a couple waitresses, and a door guy. My main complaint as a dancer is the lack of bouncers on the floor at deja vu clubs in Seattle in particular. The only times I've ever had to physically fight off a customer has been in deja vu, in plain site. I had to.actually scream for someone before a manager came rushing over. I think this club should have had more staff, but, it was a Tuesday night.
