It had been a while since...

It had been a while since I had been in the Carbondale area so I decided to stop by The Gallery a club I use to go to a few years back just to see what was up.

It looks like The Gallery has fallen on hard times, the place is in serious need of remodeling and both the inside and the outside of the club looks rundown. The cover was $5 to get in the same as the other two strip clubs in Desoto. There were only a couple of dancers on shift the night that I visited, they were both average looking and not very friendly. Counting myself there were about 5 customers in the club mostly sitting by the bar looking kinda board. I used to go to The gallery back in the day when I used to live in Carbondale. I recall that they marketed themselves as the more upscale club out of the three strip clubs in Desoto, this obviously is no longer the case. I talked to the bartender a little bit and she gave me the impression that buisness had been hurting for a while now. The place was dead and every one looked a little board.

It looks like Club Coyote has replaced The Gallery as the best strip club in Desoto, The Coyote isnt that good but at least there is a little life to the place and sometimes you can get in with a free pass, the other club JB's Place is still pretty bad (it had already started going downhill before I left town).
