Stopped by Jen's for a couple...

Stopped by Jen's for a couple of hours and found not much to get excited about. It was Friday and maybe I was there too early, but the place just seemed kind of dead. Probably 15 or 20 customers and 10 or 12 girls ranging from 3 to 6. A lot of them seemed like they were just going through the motions. It sure wasn't the A team.

You'll find better conversation almost anywhere in Akron (almost). Unless, "You want a dance?" and "Ever been in the back?" are your favorite English language phrases.

The VIP (that's "the back") is actually a pretty good deal, though, at $20 per song. You're guaranteed a good grind, although the girl I went back there with (can't remember her name) was a little too talkative. I learned a lot more about her than I wanted to know, and almost none of it was interesting. So I overspent on the VIP, couldn't concentrate on what I wanted to concentrate on and was feeling kind of crummy about the whole thing until Marie rescued me with a couple of hands-on barside dances that turned my attitude around.
