Had been a regular here fifteen years ago and then my travel patterns changed....and the club did too, as it was split into two haves, an upfront bar with no cover and a couple small platforms with dancers dancing topless, and a back room with a modest-sized stage with up to three dancers at a time and drinks served by waitresses and dancers roaming around soliciting dances that fall half-way between table dances and lap-dances. They take place at your table but the dancers orchestrate a some contact--pretty much one-way.

I strolled in on a late afternoon and headed directly into the back room; there is no cover charge there before 8PM. The back room is not all that large and it is very crowded with many small tables, making for a kind of cramped feeling. There were two dancers on stage in g-strings--very alluring East European types. Several dancers lounged around or moved around looking for customers. I turned a couple of these down--a pretty blond Russian and a striking Eastern European--possibly Czech--girl. The hustle is less aggressive than I remembered....had a decent conversation witht he Russian girl before she hit me up for a dance and I passed. Then I was approached by a Brazilian girl, who sat down, and started with the "what's your name, where are you from" routine. But we quickly moved beyond that into an enjoyable conversation about Brazil, enhanced by her roaming hands stroking my thighs, chest and elsewhere. She had that Brazilian sensuality and sex-positive attitude. So when she popped the "do you want a dance?" question, I went for it. We moved over to a banquette along the wall....and at $20 a pop she gave me a couple of quite stimulating dances. It was enjoyable but would have been more enjoyable if it hadn't been so public. And that's the biggest drawback of this club....for a dance, you either have the public table dance option or the $200 and up VIP room option, which I've never tried but always believed is a rip-off.....so all-in-all a pleasant place to kill some time but not someplace I'd go out of my way to visit.
