I visited Scarletts/Escapades while on a recent Florida trip. Arriving mid afternoon I found the bar full but most tables available on the floor. After squeezing in to the last remaining bar seat next to the waitress station, I ordered a drink to see what would happen. It didn't take long, unlike the experience of a previous poster, for a dancer to approach me and strike up a conversation. For a non-regular, it struck me as pretty easy.

There was no presure to buy drinks and no stupid wanna dance lines. Just pleasant conversation and some surprising small world connections as the dancer was from Northeast Ohio and we could talk about common places and clubs that we knew.

Since I was short on time, I decided to buy dances from this first girl and forego checking anybody else out, which goes against the norm and my personal style. So I buy a private dance which was in an area in the back with partitioned/curtained off "rooms" open in the front. Not really private because anyone walking down the access hall could have full view of your private dance session.
