I wandered in...

I wandered in about 2:30 and thought the place wasn't really open for business yet. No one was on the door, and unlike most occasions, no guy came hustling up to me to find out if I was a member and to get the $8 admission. There was one girl standing at the juke box and I asked her if they were open. She says sure, and I'm up next. When I got a little further in, I saw one other customer at a table.

The girl turned out to be the Allison of the last review. A lanky blond with a lot of miles, but friendly. During her number we became acquainted and the idea of the VIP was discussed. After her stage number I bought her a beer (same price as mine, $1.75) and we sat and chatted at a table. We did some mutual checking of parts. Since I told her I knew the place, we talked about bouncer issues in the afternoon in the VIP. She assured me that was not a problem.

While we chatted a sightly heavier brunette did her stage number and was nearly as friendly as Allison. A short, slender black girl took the other customer to the VIP and Allison remarked that she didn't understand how that girl got as much business as she apparently does. It was clear that A didn't care for her.
