Finally made it to Bogarts. I had to see if the reviews are true. They are. I spent two hours in this fine establishment. $5 cover, $10 on-time VIP entrance payment for a small DJ-type both that's somewhat dark and filled with the cheap chairs you'd see in a banquet hall. Not quite folding chairs, but still. $6.75 or make that $7 drinks. But then again, it's a Friday night, so why am I complaining? Anyways, it' a dive and most of the people in there look the part of the regulars you'd expect to see in such a place. Of course, there are people in button-downs and jackets, but the staff just assumes they are from out of town since they are in close proximity to the airport. I got asked if I was from the area seeing as I stopped in on my way home from the office and most people in here are sporting jeans and trucker hats. Nevertheless, I was approached almost the minute I walked in the door. It's a crap shoot. 50% of the girls are relatively young looking and supple, whereas the other 50% comprise the older crowd and some big girls. Ethnic makeup was mostly white, but they had a couple of black girls dancing. Crowd makeup was mostly older, white men, some younger white kids, a handful of black dudes, and one Indian dude who had the FML look on his face the whole time we was nursing his Mic Ultra and staring into space. I took a seat by the main stage (there are two side stages as well), and was only approached by girls dancing on stage every now and then, despite about $5-$10 in singles I was shelling out to the ones nice enough to dance close enough for me to touch. Went to the VIP three times to see what was going on. Mile markers all over the place! Then again, I didn't know what to expect just having read the other reviews. If you're looking for privacy, this isn't your place. It's dark, but as one girl put it "do you believe this place?" 2 for 3 on the mileage offers. One girl claimed to be newer to the club and the whole dancing thing, and I saw her 'other' performances in the VIP the two other times I went back, so I knew she wasn't offering special dances to her other customers. The other two, not shy about what type of dancing they did. FS was quoted to me at $$, oral arguments could be had at $.5. The first one was a bit more experienced (in looks anyways) and was either wasted or on something. She danced one dance, and then got called to dance on stage. After I decided this was good reason to dump her as my gf, I ended up taking another 'lesser' experienced girl to the back, but her offers came even more quickly. She quoted her dance prices and on top of that demanded tipping, but I was really just here to check the place out. Some LFK, two way contact all around she took the liberty of causing me to have a wardrobe malfuction. She inquired why I wasn't taking things into my own hands and she showed me how handy she was with her skills. I made it clear I wasn't paying for more than 5 dances, so I wouldn't necessarily say I was relieved, but yeah, if you're into long distance, this is the place. Got some prices and numbers for some OTC, but that's not really my thing. $$$ for 60...seemed a little high, but I was also talking to the best of the best here, which were probably 7's in my book, although I don't have super high standards. Anyways, it's a dive, the drinks are expensive, the girls are pushy, the shot girls are pushy and I thought I was doing myself a favor for going here instead of the classier places. I walked in with $220, walked out with nothing. It was alright, but for the money, I would've rather spent my time at a place like HC or FC. Anyways, I'll be back soon just to see how regular the staff is, I enjoyed the bluntness of the staff in terms of their dancing skills, but next time, I'm going to be a whole lot more judicious with my coin--i.e. not buying all the girls drinks, but limiting my attention to girls from whom I'd actually like attention.
