Swung by the St James, looking...

Swung by the St James, looking to relax and unwind after a tough's week of work. Plenty of cars in the parking lot, but I had no trouble finding a spot. Cover was $5 at the door. Domestic beers started at $6 (happy hour?) then later became $6.25. Normally, I like to get in and enjoy a beer or two, just taking in the place, before seeking out company. I don't like it when the girls pounce on you from the get go, 'do you want a dance?' over and over. Here, you get the exact opposite. After I was warmed up, I still couldn't get any dancers to come by. I finally enjoyed some success when I started tipping on the main stage and the side stages- and I guess that's fair. Gotta give to get. After I caught the attention of a sexy little blonde number, the evening picked up noticeably. We chatted for awhile then went into one of the semi-private lap dance rooms, and I had a very enjoyable few dances with her.

You can have a good time here, but you do have to work for it (and spread a few ones around, chum the waters so to speak).
