Came here on a recent Wednesday night. Around D.C., this is probably the most commonly mentioned club by laymen. The appearance of the club is somewhat upscale, with classy little tables and an overall cushy feel inside. There was no cover, and a dude greeted me and directed me to a two-seater table. There's a small stage a few feet in front of you where the dancers dance one at a time for about 2 or 3 songs each, stripping all the way down to nothing. You can go up to this mini-stage to tip, but you can't touch. FYI, there are actually 2 levels to this place, with a similar layout upstairs (one stage + a full bar). However, if you buy a drink downstairs, you can't take it upstairs, and vice versa, which is stupid, I think.

Okay, so this place, of course, is limited from the get-go since it's a D.C. club, meaning no lap dances. On the plus side, it's an affordable time. Drinks are expensive, but you only have to buy one and sit it in front of you and you'll be okay. As for tipping, a dollar in the girl's garter usually suffices (the girls circulate after their respective stage sets). I didn't find the girls to be terribly sociable. I saw about 7 girls dance/circulate, with 6 being petite white brunettes (most with obviously fake tits) and one somewhat thicker latina (with bigger fake tits). I noticed some of the patrons (who were generally stuffy and dorky in an upper crust D.C. way) getting individual attention at their tables from the dancers or possibly waitresses(?), and my best guess was they had dropped some cash to accomplish this level of attention (although with zero/limited physical contact, how would it be worth it?).

The biggest negative of the club was that there's this bouncer/regulator dude who circles around making sure no one is playing with their cell phones or doing other small things that are against the club's "rules." He came by my table and accused me of dozing off for a second (which I hadn't in the least - although dozing off might have been warranted, given the limited options in this place) and informed me that "When we're in the club, we have to stay awake." Thanks so much, ace, for the grade school lesson in SC etiquette. I feel positively enlightened.
