Decided to check out Shotgun Willie’s competition and this review is written from that perspective. Located about two blocks down the street from SW’s and behind the Target, the Penthouse is in a large building. The facilities are more upscale and accurately described by previous reviewers. Attitude of staff is more business-like on the order of ‘come in and give us your money.’ There was a fair number of patrons but not overly crowded. The dancers were in the 5-7 range with more tattoos and silicone and had a rougher appearance than those of SW. The most important difference was in the hustle and up-sell that seemed to be the normal way of doing business here. It isn’t something I like to see in any club and it began as soon as I sat down and didn’t stop until I left. It’s an OK club if that’s what you want but not as upscale as I had expected. Overall, while the Penthouse has nude dances and higher mileage available, the downsides are the hustle and less than comfortable experience in contrast to what can be had down the street. Personally I don’t think that I’ll return.
