THE BASICS: Although a part of town, parking seemed very safe because the bouncer mulled outside the door all night. Arrived at 10:30 p.m. on a Wednesday evening in April and stayed until 2:30. The $8 cover included one beer ticket. I drank beer for $5 each (don't know whether they sold liquor or wine). $20 lap dances, plus more expensive options available.

THE LAYOUT: Completely unique. There were no padded chairs or cocktail tables or large open floor spaces...the entire space was filled with a long bar which served as a long winding catwalk for the dancers. That is, the girls danced along the top of the bar---Coyote Ugly style---and gave each patron a little tease. Two things mandatory: drinking and tipping every girl who dances in front of (above) you on the bar. That was a GREAT thing, I discovered, because it forced interaction among all patrons and dancers, and since you only had to tip a dollar, it maybe cost $10-15/hour(?). Pool tables off to the side. A medium-sized square room (16x16?) outlined with continuous padded seats for $20 lap dances. There are apparently other options for $30 (a more private layout) and higher (VIP?), but I found no reason to venture beyond the $20 room.

THE DANCERS: Several were cute as a button...pretty enough for non-nude modeling, especially one blonde who stole my attention all night. There were also several 6-7s and a couple 4s, with something for everyone (hot latina, pretty black chick, cutesy blonde cheerleader, sexy tattooed brunette, really cute but thick girl, etc.). The girls [appeared to have] loved to sit and chat with patrons; they seemed to let their guard down and show their true personalities (as opposed to the Bourbon St. crowd).
