Ok, so maybe going here on...

Ok, so maybe going here on Sunday night after a feature act had been bringing in a bigger crowd the previous four nights wasn't such a good idea. Still, the club was open for business and charged me regular admission, so I have to grade them based on my experience on that night, right? Well, it was pretty boring. And instead of thinking back to all the great times I had there, I remembered all the things that irritated me about the place. Like I think this is the only place in the U.S. that's keeping the $2 bill in circulation. Or that they almost always have one dancer on stage. That's a lot of pressure to put on a dancer, to be the only one up there and have all of that attention placed upon them. One girl (Exstacy) was up to it - she was great - but few of the others I saw that made it out that night were. And when you got to wait two songs until the next girl gets up there, it can really zap the energy out of a place.

Yes, this was only one night, and the Parrot might be a much more entertaining place on other nights. I know I was very impressed when I made my last trip here in July. But it didn't pass the grade this particular night.
