My visit to Henry's north ended much earlier than expected so I drove down here to see if respected Detroit tuscl guru vincemichaels' opinion that Subi's is a 'little gem' was correct. I bit my tongue and paid the hated valet fee ($4) but insisted on parking the rental myself (no problem for the guy). $5 cover, mandatory coat check (tip only), $7.50 beer, $10 crantini for my dancer (more on her shortly).<p> The waitresses were exceedingly hot, the bouncers were big and burly but friendly, the bathroom troll was surly. The room has nice decor but it is small with a compact main stage and tiny auxiliary stage in the centre. Tables and chairs ring the stage. Booths and a bar occupy the space against the walls. $20 lap dances happen in narrow semi-private cubicles in the front of the room. $25 lap dances take place in much larger completely private mini-rooms in the back.<p>Shortly after I arrived all dancers were called on stage for a "meat display". I thought it was rather demeaning and the dancers were obviously uncomfortable with it as well. Only one chunky dancer was on display and I pursued the beauty of the line-up. She soon joined me at the bar and we chatted amiably with a drink before I went for a $20 lap dance. Didn't like it one bit and it was not the girl's fault - the cubicles were just too cramped for me and her. Back to the bar for more crantinis for my lady. She got friskier and friskier with me at the bar as more crantinis slid down her throat. I finally suggested some $25 lap dances. She readily agreed but insisted that I cover her mandatory $20 tip out to the house for using the back rooms. I put my arm around her and caressed one of her generous breasts and agreed to her request.<p>"Whenever you are ready" I said.<p> She stood up, took my hand in hers, and as she led me to the back she looked over her shoulder at me with a lascivious leer and said, "Good decision. You won't be sorry."<p> I wasn't.
