I live here in Pattaya full time. There are two clubs on Soi Diamond, Super Girls and Super Babes which have the same ownership. It is very true that both clubs cater to a Japanese-Korean clientele and in fact there have been times my friends and I have been the only Westerners in these clubs. Both have some of the best looking women in Pattaya but of the two Super Girls has the absolute cream. Especially at Super Girls, the girls seem haughty. There will be over thirty girls here, which is typical for a Pattaya Go Go. There will be around a dozen on the stage at any point in time. At short intervals one will step off the stage to be replaced by another girl until all the girls have been up and the process repeats itself. Unlike many other go gos where the girls smile and try to get eye contact with their customers, the girls (especially at Super Girls) typically look straight ahead staring out into space as they shuffle around going through the motions of "dancing." In my opinion the girls are "trained" to act in such a manner because Japanese and Korean guys typically do not like forward aggressive women. Note, however, my parentheses around the word "trained". Keep in mind these are Thai women. Thai women are typically untrainable. They want to have fun. They want to be friendly and the Super Girls-Super Babes girls are no exception. Another thing---drink prices are expensive here. A bottle of beer costs 120 baht which is now around $4.00 and there are no drink specials. A lot of Go go bars have 45, 55 baht specials, two for ones, etc but not Super Girls/Super Babes. But that is a good thing and so is the "apparent unfriendliness of the girls.

Some of the more well regarded go go's such as Beach Club and Happy A Go Go have their 55 baht draft beers while offering up stables of very attractive women as well. The problem is a lot of men go there to both gawk at the good looking women and drink cheap beer. This means you have a lot of competition cluttering up these places and one tends to get lost in the crowd. There's often more men in these places than women to handle them. The 120 baht beer prices at Super Girls and Super Babes severely limits the numbers of customers coming in--at least Western customers who tend to believe it's foolish to be drinking 120 baht beers when they can go down the street, drink beer for 55 baht a glass and have much more friendly women around them. And that is the beauty of Super Girls-Super Babes.

It is true that it seems busloads of Korean guys come into these places. After an hour or two they will get up and leave. When this happens there will often be very few customers in the go go which means all the focus from the girls will be upon you even if it appears they are aloof and disinterested. Another thing is this.....if the place has a pretty good crowd of Korean guys in the place, you are going to really stand out like a sore thumb and although it might be true that Koreans and Japanese pay a lot more than Westerners a lot of the girls might see you as being more fun. The secret is to further distinguish oneself. And this is the fun part. Try to get eye contact. Some of the gals will be cold fish no matter what you do. But others cannot escape their basic Thainess (they like to have fun). Get them to laugh.
