I went to the Pantheon Club...

I went to the Pantheon Club for the first time because two dancers I know from another club were working there for a couple days.

The Pantheon had a number of features to recommend it. There is no cover charge during the day, and valet parking is only $4. The club is nicely furnished in a modernistic stlye, and it has a series of large TV's around the walls, showing sporting events. The drinks cost less than most clubs. I got a bucket of beer for only $10.

But the club also has some drawbacks. The music was very loud and so I could hardly talk to the dancers. Smoking was allowed, which I don't like and which appears to violate the recent Michigan ban on smoking in bars. But the thing I disliked most was their VIP room charge. You have to pay $20 each time you go back into a closed VIP room, and since I made two trips with dancers, I paid $40 just to use VIP. That is too much. They should have a 1-time charge and give you a wrist band that would allow you to go multiple times for $20.
