Most reviews are spot on, whether positive or negative. This bar is what you make of it. Now that I am a bit of a regular--I find myself there once or twice a month--I think I'm starting to figure it out. Many of the girls don't really care who you are; they're only after your money. But others (though still after your money--it's their job, after all) will smile and say hi now that they recognize me, and I've found that I get much better service. Plus, I know who to avoid.

My simple tip: be picky. If you see a girl who interests you, tip her on stage and ask her to have a drink with you. If she accepts and can carry on a decent conversation, odds are good you'll have a good time in the (admittedly shitty) VIP room. The small time investment will go a long way. If, on the other hand, she's most interested in getting you upstairs as soon as possible, or she just silently sits there next to you, I'd suggest you move on--unless you're just wanting to drain your balls. These girls, however, are particularly adept at the upsell attempts. Be careful.
