I realize that Monday is not...

I realize that Monday is not the ideal night to visit a club so maybe this was an uncharacteristic example of what this place is normally like. But, even on a slow night, customer service should be good. I would think a club, even when it is slow, would be happy to have customers. I stopped by the Pony this week after driving by it on a business trip. I saw the billboards and figured I would try it out. In hindsight it was a waste of time. I walked in and was one of about 6 customers – eventually there were about a dozen guys. There were 3 girls on stage at first then it increased to 6 by the time I left. Generally the girls were okay – a few were cute, some were just okay, one not so much. On stage dances were actually pretty good. But when the time came for a private dance, it was like pulling teeth. The girls practically ran to avoid the customers with the exception of the not-so-cute girl. I practically had to beg to get the waitress to get me a beer. An electronic sign advertises $25 topless laps, but when I got to the back the girl asked for $35 and said the sign was wrong. I came in wanting some company, a few beers, and even on a slow night I wanted to give the girls attention and brought money to spend on dances. I was there for about 90 minutes and the whole time I felt like this place was working against me. I am a fairly young, not obnoxious, nice, professional guy, so I would normally think I was the right kind of customer for this joint. Next time I will save my money.
