Just thought I should share my past experience at the horse. I've been going to the horse for 3 years before relocating to LA in 2011. It is my favorite SC in SF, but not my favorite in NorCal. Cost to get in was $15 on a Friday evening. Non-nude dances were 20, topless were 40 and private shows(full nude) in the vip area varied(depending on what kind of deal the dancer gives you). For the vip dances, i've been quoted from 80 to 200. One of the downfalls of the club facilities is the bathroom. For years now, they have 1 urinal and 1 stall. I always felt that the seating in the stage area was crammed. The crowd was always mixed in age. The DJ didn't have a personality at all, but at least he made up for it by playing some good music. The general lapdancing area consist of 3 long couches stuck together in a form of an U-shape. I've always found it weird to sit next to my buddies when getting lapdances. The vip area consist of small rooms with curtains. They don't serve any drinks or food at this establishment. I've always went to the 7-eleven across the street or the liquor stores around the area when I needed food.

The dancers here were mostly Caucasians and Asians, but there were some Latinas and African Americans. For the most part, the dancers looked pretty good. A lot of 7's and 8's in terms of looks, but varied in terms of attitude and service. A lot of them had good grinding skills, but there were some very mechanical ones(stay away from those). I felt that most of the dancers there were strictly business. Most of them would go directly into selling. A lot of girls will try to upsell and some would even ROB you. The first time I went there, a buddy of mine was down $300 after getting a "special" private dance. He did not get anything "special". My suggestion is to not carry credit cards with you because they would tell you many things to intrigue you and give you false ideas of what you could do. On the bright side, there is a hand full of girls who are down to earth. They are willing to sit on your lap and chat. All in all, if you like hotties, this is a good place to go. Just put your thinking cap on when getting private dances.
